TENNESSEE – Workers at a Tennessee Mexican restaurant didn’t think anything of it when this group of 16 people showed up a half hour before closing Sunday night.
They ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu, racking up a $420bill.
Things got tense when one man in the group started smoking marijuana.
When he was asked to stop, the group got confrontational and the restaurant manager says they started berating the staff.
The group left the table one-by-one, and none of them paid the bill.
But this story has a happy ending.
After seeing this video on the local news, a grandparent of one of the people at the table visited the restaurant and paid the bill in full.
The manager says the group has also apologized.
