Vandals hit a new chapel that’s being built near the giant cross along 1-37.
The city’s graffiti removal team cleaned it up this morning.
We’re told the chapel was tagged sometime over the weekend.
The pastor who is leading the giant cross project has an unusual message for the vandals.
"There’s a better way and there’s a savior who died for them and I hold nothing against them I forgive them, they’re forgiven and would love to get to meet them one day and give them a hug," said Pastor Rick Milby with Abudant Life Fellowship Church.
If caught the vandals could face felony charges since it is a religious structure.
