JP Luby beach draws crowds by the hundreds and thousands and the 2018 Memorial Day Monday was no different. The wind, weather and waves brought out locals and tourists alike.

"You know, kind of bringing the car out on a weekend, just showing it off and came to have fun and see other people and be in the crowd," said Brad Brasher, a fancy car enthusiast who turned heads with his metallic ride.

"We were literally just talking about this on the way in…Corpus Christi really reminds of us Tulsa, it’s just a little cooler and the ocean is right there," one band member of the "Dirty Gringos", Bradd Johnson, told KZTV.

The band first played in South Texas back in February and they knew they had to return for their summer tour.

"The people are good, the vibes are good any time we are coming to Texas we definitely wanna stop into CC, seriously the people are just so good," Mitchell Baldwin, another band member said.
