Meet the new kids on the block.

They are artists, they are creative, and they are opening a brand new business downtown, called Creative Culture.

And, the Downtown District  is giving them money to do it.

Alyssa Barrera, the  Executive Director for the downtown district said, "a lot of times when somebody is opening a business, there are a lot of start up costs. So this new Tenant Finish Out program helps a business that wants to come downtown cover some of those costs."

One creative small business owner who is taking advantage of the program is Jeremy Flores, "it has helped us a lot, you know, they are giving an incentive for business and smaller businesses. To say, like you know, come down here and make something of what you’ll got going on and I’m very appreciative of that."

You have, undoubtedly, seen some of his creative work like the Corpus Christi mural.

Today, Flores  he is working at Harrison’s Landing under the watchful eye of the businessman behind the creative artist, Jeremy Wells.

"The incentive program, it really helped us take our plan and extend it further. Because, as a creative company we want to do a lot of creative things, obviously and creative things tend to cost a lot of money; so basically they allowed us to not limit our ideas," said Wells.

And their ideas are a lot more than painting. Creative culture can handle all of your artistic needs from art, video production and whole lot more.
