The Good Samaritan Rescue Mission needs your help,

The problem is overflow, bottom line:  the rescue mission has more people than beds.

"Right now we have a great population over 240 and growing. And right now we need towels and wash cloths and hygiene, razors, tee shirts, everyday life that we need everyday we are desperate for right now," said Tina Malone from the shelter’s housekeeping department.

When the residents come in, they are given the bare essentials and the bare essentials are a lot more than they came in with.

"They don’t have anything when they come in. They depend on us for all their needs. For everything, everything! Their food, their spiritual, their work, everything, said Malone.

Despite the washing machines going 24/7, the shelter still needs a lot more, and more is what you,  the Corpus Christi community are used to giving.

"The community is great, when we ask for help, they just pitch in and its like the heart of Corpus Christi they just pull in to gear and helping us in one body we appreciate it," said Malone.

The shelter is open 24/7/365 at 210 South Alameda. It’s easy to give. Just pull on up and let them do the rest.
