Kids who attend the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Bend have a new playground.
More than 200 volunteers grabbed hammers, saws and shovels and transformed an empty spot next to the club on Greenwood into that playground.
There were no costs for the project. Target donated the money to buy the equipment.
A nonprofit group called KaBoom helped the Boys and Girls Club organize the build party.
It took volunteers just over five hours to build the playground.
