Spectrum has gone fully digital in Corpus Christi as of Monday night. The cable company had been warning customers for several weeks that if they did not have a digital cable box yet, they would need to get one before the conversion took place or miss out on favorite shows.
Many customers who missed that announcement lined up outside of the Saratoga store waiting to get their hands on one of them.
Spectrum cable customers who already have a box didn’t have to worry about making any changes to their account though many did experience some channel blackouts while the conversion was processing.
The cable company says the conversion means better internet services and clearer HD images for customers.
