ALICE – An Alice city homeowner got a rude awakening early Mother’s Day morning after an SUV smashed into their home.
According to the Alice Echo-News Journal, the driver of a Lincoln Navigator slammed into a home in the 1600 block of Rose Drive around 1:00 am.
In a group of pictures posted on their Facebook page shows the home suffered heavy damaged and the family was displaced because of the incident.
The Alice Echo-News Journal reported the female driver was taken to the hospital.
They also reported she could be facing DWI charges.
