The Corpus Christi downtown skyline has changed a little this week.
The Bayfront Inn on Shoreline Boulevard is being demolished.
It was once a popular hotel for tourists because of its prime location – right in downtown Corpus Christi along Shoreline Boulevard.
The wear on the building over the years led it to be one of the least expensive places to stay downtown.
Police made many arrests for drug deals and violence there.
The Downtown Management District says that another hotel will be built but no one knows what kind it will be.
