Calling all ladies with a need for speed!!! Corpus Christi Harley-Davidson hosted an Introduction to Motorcycling for men and women, but tonight, was ladies night. This event further proves that motor bikes, are for everyone!
Blame the intimidation on the leather and big bikes, but really this night was all about empowerment, with like-minded ladies. The female instructors talk everything from bikes, to gear and of course learning how to ride. There is no pressure, no judgment, and no experience necessary.
Every woman in attendance had a different goal or reason for being there.
"I want to learn more about safety on a motorcycle because we have people out here that really don’t know the safety rules," said Muriel Stewart, who operates an RTA bus for our city.
"My thing is to ride with them too, I don’t want to riding in the back anymore, it’s too bumpy," said Angie Salinas, whose husband just purchased a Harley.
"You learn that there are no boundaries. You can do whatever you want. You can ride a motorcycle across the country. You can go can go with friends. You can go by yourself," marketing and apparel manager for CC Harley-Davidson, Michelle Lamantia told KZTV.
The local store will hold another all women course come August 15, 2018. You can click here for more information.
