Residents in one Corpus Christi apartment complex woke up to a bang when two cars crashed there.
It happened just after 2:00 A.M. at the Marbella Apartment Homes on Weber.
Corpus Christi Police Officers were actually already there on an unrelated call.
That’s when they heard a loud noise, and found two cars had crashed into the complex.
One had gone into a tree, while the other into a fence.
The driver of one of the vehicles took off, and when the two women in the other car tried to follow suit, police caught them.
There are conflicting stories as to just what led up to the crash, but officials believe the two parties knew each other, and an argument may have led to a dangerous case of road rage.
Police are investigating.
