An 18-year-old Flour Bluff man has been arrested in connection with last week’s home invasion.
According to Nueces County Sheriff Jim Kaelin,18-year old Trebor Campbell Wheeler was arrested Wednesday in connection with the April 2nd murder of Arturo and Miriam Lopez.
Wheeler was arrested in Killeen and taken to the Bell County Jail where he was charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery. He was released to Nueces County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday morning. They are headed to the Nueces County Jail.
On April 2nd, Arturo and Miriam Lopez were found dead in their home on the 25-hundred block of Balchuck Lane. No motive or details have been released in their deaths.
