Police have arrested who they say is the driver in the hit-and-run crash that killed Christina Vaughn in 2015.

Just earlier this month, an arrest warrant was issued for 57-year-old Rose Wray.  She is now behind bars today.

Vaughn was struck by a white SUV on the SPID access road near Rodd Field Road.  She had been helping a friend move and ran out to the freeway to retrieve a mattress that fell from a truck.  Vaughn was rushed to the hospital where she died two days later.

Court records state that Wray left the scene of the accident without giving aid nor gave her name and address to authorities.

Action 10 News featured the surveillance video repeatedly over the last two years in hopes of helping police find the driver of the SUV.
