Local and federal law enforcement officials in California descended on YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno Tuesday afternoon…searching for an active shooter.
"We did locate a victim with, what we believe to be a self inflicted gunshot wound. It was a female but the investigation is still ongoing
At least three others were wounded and transported to a local hospital.
As some workers were escorted out of the building with their hands on their heads…this employee, who was barricaded inside, took to Twitter saying he "saw blood drips on the floor and stairs."
Michael Finney, who works at a restaurant nearby, helped one of the victims who was shot in the leg.
"She was in the dining room with a couple of people who were taking care of her and then I tried to get something to stop the blood flow," said Finney.
San Bruno police are still conducting a search of the area and have instructed people in the area to stay away from the scene.
1700 people work at the facility . Google, which owns the online video website, posted on Twitter that the company is coordinating with authorities.
Re: YouTube situation, we are coordinating with authorities and will provide official information here from Google and YouTube as it becomes available.
