Man pleads not guilty to murder of Breanna Wood

The man who is charged with killing Breanna Wood was in court today.  Joseph Tejeda pleaded not guilty to capital murder during his arraignment today.  

The judge set his bond at $1 million.  The district judge also appointed a defense attorney for Tejeda who is certified to handle death penalty cases.

The Department of Public Safety reported that evidence in the case will not be processed until the summer.

Another suspect in the case, Magdalena Carvajal, stood in front of the judge for her arraignment.  Carvajal pled not guilty to the charge of tampering with evidence. 

Her bond is set at $150,000.  She will go to trial on March 19th.
