A Robstown mother accused of killing her baby girl remains behind bars.
19-year-old Chasity Herrera was arrested by Robstown Police officers is currently being held at the Nueces County Jail.
Herrera is accused of killing her 18-month-old daughter Arabella Sanchez.
Paramedics were called to an apartment in Robstown last Friday for a child with injuries, and Arabella later died at a hospital.
Robstown Police started an investigation into Arabella’s death due to "unexplained" injuries.
Her death was later ruled a homicide and police issue two warrants for the arrest of Herrera.
Herrera is charged with murder and injury to a child by omission.
