A few spots will get rain in the next few days but many will be missed as our hot weather pattern continues. Moisture increases slightly Friday into Saturday which will lead to a chance of morning coastal showers and spot afternoon showers inland. Temperatures will stay above average with breezy days as our southeast winds reach 15-25 mph. Fall officially begins Monday but looks hot as the high pressure area aloft remains overhead.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy and muggy with lows in the upper 70s inland to the lower 80s inland and southeast winds at 8-15 mph.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a slight shower chance and highs in the mid to upper 90s inland, lower 90s in Corpus Christi and upper 80s at the beaches. Southeast winds will increase to 15-25 mph with heat indices reaching 100-106.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a spot shower chance and highs in the low to mid 90s inland and upper 80s at the beaches.
