After a cold morning, winds shifted to the south, bringing milder air back into the Coastal Bend for this first day of December. Tonight won't be as cold with lows staying in the lower 50s. Increasing moisture will give us a chance of isolated coastal showers late tonight into early Wednesday as a cold front approaches.

Wednesday will still be mild with high temperatures in the low 70s as westerly winds shift to the northwest during the afternoon up to 15 mph, drying out our air. Cooler air will move in and it will be chilly Wednesday night with a low near 40.

Jacket weather returns Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 50 to lower 60s and nights dropping into the upper 30s to mid 40s with low humidity.

The cooler air will stick around through Saturday but temperatures will slowly rise starting Sunday into next week with a mild weather pattern shaping up as high pressure aloft builds.
