Dangerous heat Tuesday, relief on the way

The humidity will be high through Tuesday, causing it to feel much hotter. Heat indices will reach 105 to 115 as high temperatures climb into the 90s to 102. A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon to 7 PM Tuesday due to the dangerous heat. A weak cold front will move through early Wednesday morning and isolated showers and storms are possible Tuesday night ahead of the front. Winds will shift to the northeast to east Wednesday and the humidity will drop. The rest of the week looks hot and dry as high pressure aloft builds.

Tonight: Partly cloudy and warm with lows in the upper 70s and south winds at 8-16 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, hot and humid with highs near 90 at the beaches to 102 inland and south winds at 10-18 mph. The humidity will make if feel like 105-115.

Tuesday Night: Slight shower or t-storm chance with lows in the mid to upper 70s.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of an early morning shower and highs in the upper 90s inland to upper 80s beaches and northeast-east winds at 10-20 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 90s inland to mid 80s beaches and east winds at 8-16 mph.
