The humidity remains high as gulf moisture continues to stream  in with gusty southeast winds. Low clouds will be persistent through Friday with some breaks in the clouds Thursday afternoon.Except for sprinkles or brief light shower, we’ll stay dry until Friday. The best chance of rain comes Friday night through Saturday afternoon as a weak cold front moves in and stalls over south Texas.

Tonight: Clouds will persist and it stays warm and muggy with lows only dropping into the mid 70s as southeast winds continue at 18-25 mph.

Thursday: The day will start with overcast skies but clouds will break up a  bit in the afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 80s. The humidity will be high, making it feel more like the lower 90s. We’ll have another breezy day with southeast winds at 18-25, gusting to 30 mph.

Extended: A weak surface front will move into south Texas Friday, bringing a chance of t-storms mainly inland and north. As this front sags south, rain chances will increase in the Coastal Bend with widely scattered showers or t-storms possible Friday night through Saturday afternoon. It looks like most of the activity will move out  by Saturday evening with dry weather for the Buc Days Parade at 8 PM. The humidity drops only slightly this weekend and Sunday looks like a great day to get outdoors as we’ll see some sunshine and winds will remain under 20 mph from the east. Heading into Monday, the stalled front in south Texas lifts north as a warm front and we’ll pick up on and off  showers and t-storms through Tuesday with high humidity.
