Corpus Christi Independent School District released information on Sunday regarding the state quarterfinal between Veterans Memorial and Flour Bluff. In a release, they said that Veterans Memorial will play Flour Bluff on Saturday, Jan. 2 at Buc Stadium at 2:00 pm. The Veterans Memorial home team will sit on the west side while Flour Bluff visitors will sit on the east side. Game time is 2:00 pm, and gates will open one and a half hours before game time at 12:30 pm. The winner of this game will play in the State Semifinals against the Region Three winner between Leander Cedar Park and Alvin Manvel.
The tickets for Veterans Memorial will be sold at the Cabaniss Baseball ticket booth for two nights only.
Ticket sales will start on Monday, December 28 for the parents/guardians of varsity football, band, cheer and the drill team from 5:30pm-8:00pm.
On Tuesday, December 29, current students with a Veterans Memorial ID will receive one ticket. Faculty with a Veterans Memorial ID can also buy one ticket and Previous Years Season ticket holders can buy tickets from 5:30pm-6:45pm. If any tickets leftover are available, they will be open for sale to the general public from 6:45pm-8:00pm
Pre-sale ticket prices will be $9 for adults, $5 for students and all leftover tickets, if any available at the gate will be $10.
Flour Bluff online ticket sales begin Monday Dec. 28 at 5:00 pm and ends Wednesday Dec. 28 at 5:00 pm for parents of participating athletes.
Public ticket sales begin Wednesday Dec. 30 at 7:00pm and ends at midnight on Friday Jan. 1.
One ticket admits one person, three years and over. Tickets are $10 per person. You must redeem your emailed ticket at the gate the day of the event. Your ticket will be invalid if redeemed before the event.
Masks are requires at the stadium with four people to a pod. Only clear bags are allowed at the stadium and there is no re-entry or refunds.
