Port Aransas High School Class of 2020 is will be celebrating their graduation on the beach.
Following their graduation ceremony from 8 p.m. to 09 p.m. on Friday, May 29, graduates will get into golf carts for a street parade that ends on the beach.
The golf carts will start at the Port Aransas High School parking lot, turn left on Station Street, turn left on Avenue G., and turn left onto the beach. The parade route will then travel along the beach until it reaches Beach Street.
Spectators from the entire Port Aransas community are invited to participate by parking on the beach to watch the parade.
Organizers remind spectators to practice social distancing and to not approach golf carts in the parade.
