Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will open up online registration for their Latchkey Summer Camp programs.
"Through play, children stay active and learn to develop a healthy lifestyle and social skills. Our enthusiastic and professional staff are committed to making this a #CamptasticSummer for all our campers," said a press release from the city.
Only online registration will be available, per the CDC's recommendations, to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Organizers will also implement some COVID-19 preventative practices during camp.
"New safety processes have been implemented to comply with COVID-19 prevention. Children will have their temperatures taken at the door prior to sign-in. Parents will drop off and pick up children outside of the facility," says the city's press release.
