Two local judges were honored by the county today after being recently honored by the state.
Nueces County commissioners gave a shout out to 347th District Judge Missy Medary and 214th District Judge Inna Klein.
They received the centers of excellence award by the Texas Judicial Council last month in Austin.
Both got perfect scores on categories like governance, case flow management and court operations.
Medary and Klein are first two judges to receive the award in the state of Texas.
