Gov. Greg Abbott says the state is putting its resources on standby all along the Gulf Coast should they be needed.
Some of those resources include urban search and rescue teams, mobile medical units and strike teams with the State Department of Health.
It also includes boat teams, helicopters from Texas Parks and Wildliffe andunits from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
