Many say happiness is a state of mind.
But it appears that some states collectively are happier than others.
According to a recent wallethub.com study, Utah is the happiest state in America.
Minnesota came in second and Hawaii rounds out the top three.
The personal finance site weighed a number of factors including depression rates, amount of work hours and adequate sleep.
Texas ranked 38th nationally.
And West Virginia came in 50th.
