CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Today the following schools earned perfect scores Gibson Elementary, Flour Bluff Intermediate, along with Meadowbrook Elementary.
Earning a top spot on the A-list, Whataburger located at 1121 Waldron earned a 99.
The Popeye's located at 5009 Greenwood also earned a 99.
So did the McDonalds located at 1229 Waldron and JL Ice located at 16233 FM 624.
The School of Science & Technology Kitchen earned a 98.
The Taco Bell located at 2201 Morgan earned a 98.
Wahoo Willy's at Hurricane Alley earned a 97.
The Chapala Grill Mexican Restaurant located at 2330 Airline earned a 95
Dropping down to the B-list, the La Playa by the Bay located at 227 N. Water St earned an 84. It's violations included, food needs to be stored six inches off the ground, everything needs to be dated, ice machine needs replacing, need to bleach cutting boards, live roaches in kitchen, keep wet, unused wet rags in sanitizing solution, need to store clean, unused knives in proper place, need handed utensils for scooping out food, need to store open bulk buckets, back splash needs to be degreased, and vent hoods need to be cleaned.
