Violations included containers needing labels, no thermometers, no hand towels at hand washing station, gnats,employees not wearing beard guards, knifes everywhere, dirty equipment, missing tiles in the kitchen, vent hood needs maintenance, floors need to be cleaned and water all over the back area and dry goods.
Scuttlebutt's Seafood Bar & Grill located at 14254 South Padre Island Drive scored an 85.
Health inspectors found a dirty ice dispenser, a dirty ice machine, dirty flour bulk containers, chemical spray bottles were not labeled, dishes in hand washing sink, flies and employees not wearing beard guards.
Other violations included employee drinks needing lids, utensils needed to dispense condiments for drinks, the refrigerator door needs to be repaired, the bulk flour container was not labeled, dirty hoods and a dirty wall around prep table.
