Police need your help catching a murder suspect

A man is wanted for the murder of Miguel Rhodes, who was shot Dec. 29 after an early-morning altercation in the 5200 block of Weber Road.

The Corpus Christi Police department posted on Facebook that 20-year-old Maliek Gordon has an outstanding warrant out for his arrest with a bond of $500,000.

When the officers arrived, they found the 29-year-old male victim unresponsive and began performing CPR. The victim was transported to the hospital by medics where he eventually died of his injuries.

According to the post, Gordon is 5 feet 11 inches, 155 punds with black hair and brown eyes.

This is the second murder warrant in the case. Police arrested Khalid Runnels in connection with the case on Jan. 8. He was charged with one count of murder with bond set at $250,000.
