CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A wrong way driver crashed head-on in to a local DPS trooper last night.
The crash happened 11:26 pm Tuesday northbound of Interstate 37, near Labonte Park.
According to DPS PIO Sgt. Nathan Brandley, 26-year old Donald Keone Emeliano was driving the wrong way on northbound I37 late last night when he crashed.
Brandley said Emeliano hit one DPS troopers' patrol unit and a car.
The trooper and the driver of the car were not injured.
Emeliano was charged for suspicion of drunk driving.
