ORANGE GROVE, Texas — Our Action 10 News team had told you about Orange Grove resident Hector Martinez whose home was damaged by Hurricane Harvey.

The Texas General Land Office gave Martinez money to rebuild but he isn't happy with the work done by the contractor.

The owner of RM Quality Construction contacted Action 10 News and said some of the issues that were presented were already discussed, like the electrical problems.

However other issues such as water leaks and doors swinging open on their own were not mentioned to the construction company.

"I think we did a good job we have the GLO program which is a very strict program where they have multiple inspections outside of your normal city inspections and in this case this house is in the county and did not have the municipal inspections so GLO requires us to have a 3rd party inspector, inspect all the electrical work plumbing, just as if it was in city municipality," says Owner of RM Quality Construction Randy Malouf.

After seeing our report, Malouf says staff has scheduled to visit Martinez to look at his concerns.
