The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has released the identity of the man who was involved in a rollover crash this weekend.

It has confirmed that 39-year old Jacob Morgan was killed in the Sunday morning crash.

According to police, Morgan was speeding on the access road along westbound South Padre Island Drive just past Staples Street when he lost control of his three-wheeled motorcycle, hit a curb and flipped over.

Morgan was thrown from the motorcycle that landed near the parking lot of the Longhorn Steakhouse at La Palmera Mall.

According to the Medical Examiner report, Morgan died from blunt force trauma.
