CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas Education Agency released Academic Accountability Ratings for school districts and campuses across the state.

We've learned that the Corpus Christi Independent School District did better than last year.

The District's overall performance score was an 86. The district earned a "C" for student achievement.

Each district's overall score is based on 3 criteria: student achievement, school progress and closing the gaps.

CCISD schools that recieved an A include Collegiate High School, Harold T. Branch Academy, Veterans Memorial High School, Kolda Elementary School, Mireles Elementary School, Smith Elementary School and Windsor Park Elementary School.

One CCISD campus, Haas Middle School, received and F rating. The District says Haas will receive intensive support and guidance during the upcoming school year.
