CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department is searching for a suspect in a late-night shooting on Panama Drive that left a 19-year-old woman injured.

A police spokesman said that officers were called to the 3700 block of Panama Drive around 10:23 p.m. for a shots fired call. A neighbor told officers upon arrival that a vehicle fled the scene. During the investigation officers found shell casings on the ground.

While investigators were at the Panama Drive scene, they received a call about a walk-in shooting victim at Driscoll Children's Hospital on S. Alameda.
