Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is joining a growing list of universities across the nation and canceling Spring Break 2021 for its staff and students.
Friday afternoon the university’s president and CEO Dr. Kelly M. Miller announced the news to its approximate 12,000 students.
“ It is a difficult choice but one that is in the best interests of our entire community”.
Continuing safe practices in the new year is at the forefront of our planning.
Unfortunately, we must join universities around the country in eliminating Spring Break in 2021, a difficult choice that is in the best interests of our community.

Students will have a one-day “Spring Break” on Wednesday, March 17. Classes will end on Wednesday, May 5, and exams will begin on Friday, May 7.
“Our fall semester has been very successful because of your cooperation, and I am grateful every day for your commitment to safety”, said Dr. Miller.
