An armed robbery suspect didn't make it very far after police say he stole some cash and smokes from a convenience store.
Police were called to the Stripes at Port and Tarlton on Monday around 5 a.m.
They got a description of the suspect who took an unknown amount of money and cigarettes.
Officers spotted the suspect in the area of Horne and Greenwood, trying to get away on a bicycle.
19-year-old Kyle Phelps was arrested on an aggravated robbery charge.
Police also charged him with theft of a handgun after police found a stolen firearm in his possession.
