Stolen car pursuit ends in crash, search for suspects ongoing

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An overnight police chase ends in a crash on the city's southside.

The incident began just after 2:00 AM Thursday morning after police responded to a gas station near Panama Drive and Weber Road for a call about a stolen vehicle.

The suspects took off in the car which prompted a chase.

Several shots were fired toward the responding officers.

The stolen car eventually crashed near the intersection of Mcardle and Rodd Field Road.

At least three people fled the vehicle and ran.

Officers closed off several streets in the area to search for the suspects, but at this point, no arrests have been made.
