Aransas Pass police are warning people of skimmers recently found at two gas stations.
APPD posted pictures on their Facebook account to announce skimming devices were found at two separate stripes locations, one at East McClung and the other on Cleveland Boulevard.
Officers removed the devices and are performing forensic analysis on them, but say there's no information on how long the crooks have been using the devices to steal data from unsuspecting customers.
Police stated, "We share this information so that you are aware in case you have found that your identity or credit information has been stolen and used after having paid at the pump at one of these two locations."
If you find that you are a victim of identity theft or credit and debit card abuse, you're asked to call the department at 361-758-5224.
