CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police are investigating a shooting in Corpus Christi's Southside that left a 17-year-old male dead.
The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday on Weber near Holly Road.
Shooting on the southside leaves teen dead
The teen was apparently shot during an altercation. He was declared dead at a local hospital.
Several people were detained for questioning, but police do not believe the suspect was among that group.
