CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man who has been wanted by San Patricio County authorities for 4 years has been captured. Sheriff Oscar Rivera announced on Monday that 38-year-old Daniel Rosenbaum was arrested in the area of CR 600. Rosenbaum had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

According to Sheriff Rivera, investigators received a tip that Rosenbaum was staying with someone named Michelle Perez at a home located on CR 2369 near St. Paul. After deputies knocked, Rosenbaum opened the door but immediately shut it. The Sheriff said no one would open the door again, and Rosenbaum escaped by making his way out the back door.

Investigators arrested 43-year-old Michelle Perez for Hindering Apprehension which is a felony offense. Sheriff Rivera said she allowed Rosenbaum time to get dressed and make his get-away.

Later the same day, Rosenbaum was seen in the area of CR 600. Deputies arrested Rosenbaum after finding him lying in tall grass. He is charged again with Evading Arrest.
