CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are at two separate scenes along Lou Street.

They are conducting investigations just blocks apart in a westside neighborhood.

Corpus Christi police were assisting the ATF in serving search warrants on a home in the 100 block of Virginia Avenue before dawn this morning.

Police on the scene say it's part of an ongoing investigation that involved two different homes.

The second home that was being searched is on the 200 block of Cortez, just down the road from the first location.

Investigators spent several hours at the scene searching the home.

Several vehicles were removed from both properties.

KRIS 6 News has learned that Homeland Security is handling the investigations that are said to be ongoing.

They couldn't comment any further on the cases and what they were looking for.
