A cyclist who was riding along Highway 361 near Harbor Island Road was struck by a vehicle
The incident happened early this morning just after 4 am.
According to APPD, the 51-year-old man was struck by a vehicle also heading westbound on the road. The man struck is head on the ground and received several serious injuries. The person who struck him made no effort to stop and help the man.
Officials are asking for the public's help in finding out who did this. The vehicle should have damage to its front right side, and paint residue left on the bicycle lead detectives to believe that the vehicle might be gray or black.
