CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A chartered flight carrying some very precious cargo took off from the airport this afternoon.
A rescue group called Pilots and Paws loaded some pups that had been at the Nueces County Services Shelter.
The VIP passengers included a mommy dog, her six puppies and two other orphaned puppies.
They'll be taken to a foster home in Georgetown.
