CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Patients at Driscoll Children's Hospital got into the Halloween spirit on Tuesday.
The children being cared for at the hospital were able to take part in a special party complete with costumes, games and treats. The hospital staff said this allowed them to still have a fun traditional Halloween despite being treated at the hospital.
Driscoll Children's Hospital teamed up with Spirit Halloween to host the event. The "Spirit of Children" Program has raised $224,000 for Driscoll's Child Life Department.
