CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A call to arms has been issued to CCISD parents who are concerned about bullying.

A local group called "Stop Bullying in CCISD" is asking parents to show up at today's school board meeting to voice their concerns about bullying.

Today's meeting is the first since last week's incident at Hicks Elementary where one boy ended up with the tip of his finger being cut off.

It reportedly happened when another student kicked a restroom door shut on the boy's finger.
