CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — 8/19/26 UPDATE:
According to Sgt. Antonio Aguilar with Nueces County Constable Precinct 5, the man has been identified as a third party contractor hired by Safeguard Properties.
He contacted the Constable's Office and explained that he inspects properties and is required to take a photo of the homeowner's door as proof that the inspection is complete. He had the paperwork to back up his claims.

Nueces County Precinct 5 deputies are asking for the public's help identifying a suspicious person trespassing on properties in the northwest part of the county.
According to the agency, the individual has been walking up to homes and taking pictures of front doors and locks. The person never attempts to speak with anyone or leave contact information.
Anyone who recognizes the individual is asked to call Precinct 5 at 361-767-5204.
