Aransas Pass Officials have released information regarding a manslaughter case from early last week.
The incident went down around 11:37 pm, Tuesday, August 27. According to APPD, a fight broke out between two men outside a bar and escalated. Police arrived on the scene at the 1000 block of West Lott Avenue and found a 56-year-old who was unresponsive and Matthew Ryan Dickson, 29.
Police determined that Dickson hit the 56-year-old with his car. Dickson was arrested and charged with manslaughter. The unidentified person was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Officials will not release the name of the victim until next-of-kin is notified first.
