UPDATE:

KRIS 6 News has uncovered new details in the March 29 arrest of Corpus Christi Cronica creator Eric Tunchez.

According to the arrest report filed in the online personality's case, officers were called to a home on the 4400 block of Kirkwood Drive just after 3 a.m. on Sunday for a disturbance.

When officers arrived, Tunchez, 38, told them he was having a disturbance with his girlfriend.

Officers ran a background check on Tunchez and discovered an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was for failing to appear in court on a charge of establishing a gambling charge, and officers took him into custody.

Tunchez was previously arrested in late May 2025 at the Lucky Panda Game Room on the 5200 block of Ayers Street. At that time, he was charged with violating the Nueces County Game Room Ordinance, keeping a gambling place, gambling promotion, possession of a gambling device and engaging in organized criminal activity.

According to the Nueces County Jail, Tunchez was released Sunday on a $40,000 bond.

KRIS 6 News reached out to Tunchez shortly after noon on Monday for a response or statement regarding his arrest but he did not answer his phone.

We will update this article if he returns our call.
