ROBSTOWN, Texas — Friday night, the Robstown Cotton Pickers is hosting its first home game of the season and they're playing on some new turf.
The district unveiled its new artificial turf at the football stadium Friday. It took about five months to get the new field ready to go.
The artificial turf is easier to maintain and won't get muddy after it rains.
