CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The national Homeless Persons' Memorial sunrise service is scheduled to happen at Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park at 7 a.m. Friday.
Mayor Paulette Guajardo will read the names of the city's homeless that have died while they were unsheltered this year.
There will also be a bagpiper providing music and a brief prayer to honor the lives lost.
